CHRISTMAS STOCKING FILLERS

This is just a quick post for anyone in need of some ideas for stocking fillers under 40 pounds, personally I'm a big fan of little gadgets, practical and quirky items from desk top games to Ipad sleeves and everything in between.

DIADORA RETURNS WITH THE B.ELITE

Distinguished Italian sports wear brand Diadora are re-launching some of their classic footwear styles this Autumn. The limited editon B.Elite is the first to hit the U.K as of November exclusively in footpatrol.

The B.Elite is has become an iconic heritage classic from it's original release in 1981 and is also the signature shoe of the sporting legend and eleven times grand slam winner Bjorn Borg.



Diadora has been around since 1948!! And for as long as I can remember has been the football boot I chose throughout my secondary school football career.

ALBAM SAMPLE SALE THIS WEDNESDAY!!

This Wednesday the 9th of November is the Albam Grand Archive sale with various range of styles from vintage pieces from the early days, one off's that didn't quite make the shop floor and current season items.

Alongside the arcive sale a Grand sale will be taking place for one day only and will have up to 70% off selected items which will feature a host of current stock and some end of line stock.

My advice is to get down there early to grab the best bargains as I imagine the stock won't be around for long.

ICON BRAND 'PIECES OF NOWHERE'

I have mentioned Icon before and their collaboration with British meswear designer Martine Rose. This time the Icon guys are back with this little feature video on a young street busker(Jack Dawson)they found outside the venue where they were holding an event. The Icon guys loved Jack's music a lot and decided to invited him to perform at the event of over 400 people and alongside a seasoned line up.

The guests are fully decked out in Icon accessories which are inspired by items from a travelling band that have been lost, found, stolen and borrowed along the way.

ALBAM X PEDLARS

Albam have announced this Autumn a series of collaborations with one of their favorite homeware stores Pedlars.

Pedlars is a family run business based in the Sottish highlands, run by Charlie and Caroline Gladstone, all Pedlars products have been personally tried and tested ensuring that added importance of quality.

Their colection has been ever evolving over the years to now producing some of the finest European homewares, with such a diverse range from stylish funishings, kitchen ware, games, toys as well as some vintage pieces and specially commisioned limited edition prints, I think every house needs at least one piece of Pedlars to make it a home.

To celebrate the marrige of fashion and homeware Albam will be hosting a pop-up shop which is launching today(13.10.11) in the Pedlars Talbot road shop in west London, which will also feature a selection of key Albam pieces.

The space will also feature Albams favorite pieces from the Pedlars eclectic catalogue that refelct the honesty of the design and the aesthetics which are similar traits to those of Albam which I think partners these two brands together perfectly.

I love the mugs they remind me of camping when I was younger, and the door stop just because its a rock!

LOUIS VUITTON CITY GUIDES

Louis Vuitton have done a series of city guides, this particular one is the gentleman's guide to London. The short film takes you on a journey through London to find the staple clothing to become the perfect English gentleman, visiting the likes of Anderson & Sheppard Ltd and James Lock & Co Ltd.

I'm over winter now, I'm looking to spring/summer now and already thinking of what I want to wear and I have seen some looks I hope to recreate/make my own. This one caught my eye especially from the Sartorialist.

For Spring / Summer 2011, Ben Sherman Modern Classics has created a collection that draws inspiration from Aviation and the clothing worn by early World War II crewmen. Taking traditional styles and reworking them with contemporary detailing in modern fabrications. These garments have been designed to function and are crafted from premium fabrics that include British Millerain, fine Japanese Selvedge twills, chambrays and Oxford cotton.

MARCUS HEDBRANDH FOR ROGATIS FALL 2010

Despite it being the fall collection for 2010 I still love this editorial, the styling is very clean cut and 'dapper' I would love to have the occasions to be able to dress like this.
